APMP BPC Orlando 2023

May 30, 2023

Last week, at APMP’s Bid and Proposal Conference (BPC) in Orlando, Florida, we rolled out the red carpet once again! We made a huge splash. Our booth was twice the size it was last year, our logos were everywhere and we had signs throughout the whole venue – even the stairs. You couldn’t miss us if you tried!

Once again, we brought the SMA Essential Series which includes three new books. Yes, we gave out all eight books this year and we are thrilled to report that they are in high demand. 1,500 copies found new homes. The feedback on these books is extremely positive. Since returning from the conference, we have orders for an additional 150 books!

But we didn’t stop with just books. We released exclusive SMA/APMP/TOD® co-branded sneakers and received rave reviews. Everyone wanted a pair, and we had a station for people to try on their shoes, take photos in front of the giant Jenga made of SMA shoe boxes, and supported the closing ceremony raffle where we gave away a pair of shoes to 10 lucky winners.

We had three incredible speaking presentations led by Ajay Patel, CEO of SMA, Jacque Keats, COO of SMA, and Dick Eassom, VP of Corporate Support. Ajay captivated us with an exhilarating presentation on “Why We Sometimes Write like Idiots in Proposals”, Jacque took the audience through an engaging tour of our SMA Talent on Demand (TOD®) Platform, and Dick (aka Wordman) fascinated the audience with his famous “Wordman’s Microsoft Word Workshop”. Each of these presentations was standing-room only.

Each year, we are grateful for the opportunity to engage with industry professionals and share our knowledge and experience. As we reflect on our time at BPC this year, we remain dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and supporting the bid and proposal community. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth and connected with us at the conference. A special thank you to the APMP team who did an incredible job. We look forward to seeing you all there next year!
