SMA: The Program Lifecycle Company™ is thrilled to announce that we have established an SMA branch in the United Kingdom. SMA Marketing recently had the opportunity to sit down with our Chief Operating Officer, Jacque Keats, to delve into the details.

Marketing: Good morning, Jacque.

Keats: Good morning.

Marketing: Opening a UK office is certainly great news. Could you tell us about the reasons behind this decision?

Keats: Yes, I am very excited about that. We have been doing business internationally for decades now. In addition to the UK, we’ve had projects in places such as Germany, Italy, Singapore, Australia, and Canada. And, while considering market conditions over the past several years, it became increasingly apparent that we needed to open a UK office for our customers to better leverage our services.

Marketing: So, there’s an increasing demand for our services in the UK?

Keats: Yes, some of our US clients also have operations in the UK, and they have been asking us for more support over there. To provide that support, we needed to open a UK branch. Additionally, because of our global marketing efforts through Talent On Demand® (TOD®), we have seen a significant increase in interest in the solutions and talent we provide.

Marketing: Since we have been operating in the UK for years, why have we decided now to open an office? Why not, say, ten years ago?

Keats: Since COVID we’ve seen a consistent need in the UK market, and we recognize this as a chance to leverage the connecting power of TOD®. There’s a great pool of talent in the UK that lacks a conduit into great opportunities. We saw this as an opening to better serve our clients’ needs through local talent.

Marketing: So, what is the long-term plan for SMA in the UK?

Keats: We project doubling our presence in the UK in the next five years. And having a base in the UK makes it easier for us to serve other clients in Europe.
